The Problem
The Problem we aim to address at Framing and Gilding Studio is the suboptimal user experience on the old website. Users have reported difficulties in navigating the gallery, ordering framing and gilding services, and finding information about the studio’s offerings. This leads to a decrease in user engagement and conversion rates.
The Challenge:
The Challenge in this project lies in transforming the website into an intuitive and visually appealing platform that caters to both art enthusiasts and potential customers seeking framing and gilding services. We need to strike a balance between showcasing artwork and facilitating seamless order placements.
The Goal:
The Goal for the Framing and Gilding Studio UX project is to create a website that not only showcases the studio’s artistry but also simplifies the framing and gilding order process, resulting in increased user engagement, higher customer satisfaction, and ultimately, increased revenue.

Our objectives for this UX project include:
- Increasing user engagement by 20% within six months.
- Reducing cart abandonment during the framing and gilding order process by 15%.

Research

I examined various factors such as keywords, demographics, page speed, and shopping seasons. This allowed me to understand the market more deeply and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
My Creative Journey:
My Creative Journey throughout this project has involved conducting user interviews, analyzing user feedback, and iterating on design concepts. It has been inspiring to see how our creative solutions have evolved to meet the unique challenges of combining art appreciation with e-commerce functionality. This journey has reinforced the importance of user-centered design and collaboration within the team.
